Artist's Comments

The Final version of my Muse. I wanted to give her a background for a long time, and finally it is finished. The background took me almost a week on and off of working. It is done in copic marker as well, and they were composited in photoshop. Thanks to everyone who +faved the first version, I hope this one is recieved as well.

Copic Markers ^^ I am using a smooth card stock for paper which is really good for layering.

Great job on the colouring. I also love the backround a lot. Where is it exactly. Just a cave or somplace secret?

The one biggest complaint I usually have about "manga/anime" style art is a lack of a background, but not so it this case. Awesome, finished piece of work! I'm super impressed with the way you blended the background and figure together so seemlessly.

My only suggestions would be: use some more pronounced shadows to focus more attention on the figure, and when making background in general if you use the same colors and the same tints the whole picture is going to blend in together. Try an aerial perspetive, where things farther away are lighter, or use colors that make your figure stand out.

Just a suggestion for future projects, keep up the good work! :)
